NESNELERİN İNTERNETİNİN KİŞİSEL VERİLERİN KORUNMASI KAPSAMINDA İNCELENMESİ

With the use of new network technologies such as IPv6 and the development of identification technologies that allow objects to be addressed, the use of internet of things technology has increased day by day. In the scope of this study, first of all, the definition, purpose, history, application areas, components, architecture of the Internet of things were discussed. Then, with the concerns expressed within the scope of personal data protection regarding the Internet of things technology, the solution proposals given to the internet of things stakeholders by the 29th Working Group were included and the qualifications of IoT stakeholders as data controllers were evaluated. Finally, the place of the Internet of things in Turkish law has been mentioned and within the scope of the General Data Protection Regulation, which replaces the 95/46/EC Directive of the European Union that is taken as an example of the Law No. 6698 on Protection of Personal Data, evaluations related to the use of IoT have been included.
