Development of an Equipment Monitoring System

At present, the development of manufacturing machinery and technology is very rapid in Industry 4.0. Many problems arise in manufacturing machines that must be handled quickly by technicians. There are many ways to connect manufacturing machines and technicians, one of which is to use the Internet of Things and the Web of Things. Internet of Things (IoT) refers to all physical objects or devices that are connected and exchange data over the Internet. The main objective of WoT(Web of Things) is to standardize the use of web technologies that are already available to facilitate the development of IoT applications and online services. With the implementation of the Internet of Things and the Web of Things in the manufacturing industry, of course, the challenges are getting bigger. One of the main issues in IoT and WoT deployments includes devices with multiple protocols and the accessibility of multiple devices. One solution to the problem of interoperability is to use MQTT for data communication and the telegram application to find out the results of data monitoring. With the explanation above, we developed a monitoring manufacturing machine by monitoring the color of the lights on the stack light. when the manufacturing machine has a problem, it is hoped that the mechanic can come and solve the fault in the manufacturing machine faster
