Research on the Application of SD-WAN Technology in Power Communication Scenarios

With the continuous expansion of the power communication network and the increasing demand for communication, the conventional wide area network(W AN) cannot meet the communication needs of long-distance power communication networking any longer. In order to eliminate the pain points of high networking costs and complex protocols, SD-WAN formed by applying the SDN technology in the WAN is flexible and reliable, which not only can establish a virtual communication channel, but also can be used as an emergency link to quickly restore services. In this paper, the application of SD- WAN in the scenarios with lack of power communication resources is studied, and a secure public network resource application device is developed on the basis of the SD-WAN technology, and the technical solution for the hybrid networking of optical fiber network and public network is optimized. This device can provide a broadband communication link in emergency situations, improving the availability and reliability of the power communication network.
