Quantum-Dot Cellular Automata (QCA) is the coulomb repulsion-based completely new nanotechnology which is used for designing all types of digital circuits at a very nanoscale which directly replaced CMOS technology. QCA technology provides high switching speed, high integrity, low power consumption, low device area, minimum latency, etc. compared to CMOS technology. In this paper, designed a single layer 4×4 banyan tree network using QCA technology. In that, 2×2 crossbar switch was used as a base of the proposed design. The proposed design has achieved the best results in terms of total area, delay, total cell count, power loss, and compact circuit which is suited for nano-communication. The overall design and implementation are achieved on a single layer. QCA designer 2.0.3 software was used for the circuit designs and their simulations.
