This paper proposes a method to introduce personalized pinna cues in binaural reproduction using multi-driver headphones. The listener’s head is decomposed into a rigid spherical dome and the pinna surface. Multiple microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) speakers are placed in the headphone enclosure to reproduce the velocity vectors on a surface that covers the ear. The velocity vectors only consider the incident sound field and the scattering by the rigid spherical dome. The detailed scattering due to the pinna can be ignored because it is naturally reproduced by the interaction between the incident sound wave from the MEMS speakers and the pinna.
