Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) are very famous that are utilized in various areas such as controls, monitoring, surveillance, and data gathering. WSN provides different sensing devices. Over the sensor network, huge numbers of sensor nodes are placed. The sensor nodes presented in the WSN are usually involved with a restricted power supply. Hence, it is required to provide efficient energy management in WSN for improving the network lifetime to make the nodes to be effective over a long period. This paper explores the energy-efficient secure routing protocol for maximizing the security of the WSN. Here, the clustering and cluster head selection is done via Honey Badger Algorithm (HBA). Here, the multi-objective criteria are carried out regarding various measures such as energy, distance, and security risk. The experimental analysis made on the developed model shows good data transmission with better energy efficiency and network lifetime through the developed model.
