Virtual reality software might be challenging to utilize for new and inexperienced individuals who lack a background in programming and computer graphics. There are existing authoring tools that aim to democratize the usage of virtual reality by many specialists in various situations, such as educational or industrial. However, these authoring tools are frequently insufficient, with lack of support and standard operating procedures. This study proposes design guidelines for the development of intuitive virtual reality authoring tools. The findings indicate that most of the design guidelines might be effective in assisting the development of more intuitive virtual reality authoring tools.
