Model Reuse Method in Protection Schematic Simulation

Various types of protection equipment from different manufacturers are used in the substation. In different application scenarios, protection devices of the same model and version usually adopt the same protection schematic diagrams except only function switching and parameter setting are different. Therefore, the paper proposes a general model reuse method to realize multiplexing application of protection schematic graph model in microcomputer protection schematic simulation and training. First, basic protection diagram simulation model is established according to the software principle of the protection device. Then, instance protection diagram model is generated through the basic model and engineering configuration file automatically. In the simulation process, detail simulation data is recorded for each actual simulated device. Finally, the correspondence relation is achieved between a virtual protection schematic model and several simulation instances. Furthermore, the effectiveness of the method proposed in the paper is validated through case study.
