Review on Research and Development of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Swarm Cooperative Operation

In recent years, with the development and application of network, artificial intelligence, autonomous system, big data and other cutting-edge technologies, unmanned combat system has been rapidly developed. Cooperative operation of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) swarm is becoming reality and practice from concept and theory. UAV swarm cooperative operation is a novel warfare style, which has many characteristics such as high intelligent degree, strong situational awareness, good operational effectiveness and low cost of maintenance and task. It is the inevitable development trend for UAV to participate in future combat. This paper starts from the concept of UAV swarm cooperative operation, the development background of this technology is systematically summarized, then the research status of UAV swarm cooperative operation at home and abroad is shown, and then influence the UAV cooperative operation system swarm play fighting efficiency of the key technology is analyzed, finally combining with the domestic and foreign research present situation and the key technology to illustrate the challenges that cooperative operation of UAV swarm will face, which providing reference for the development of UAV swarms.
