Decentralized Control of Nondeterministic Discrete Event Systems with Deterministic Specifications

Akari Kimura, Shigemasa Takai · 2022

We consider the decentralized bisimilarity control problem for nondeterministic discrete event systems. In this problem, we synthesize a decentralized supervisor that consists of multiple local supervisors so that the controlled plant is bisimilar to the specification. In the special case where the specification is deterministic, we show necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of a decentralized supervisor that consists of deterministic local supervisors and solves the bisimilarity control problem.
