In modern days devices are able to connect with more than one interfaces at a time which ensures seamless connectivity. MPTCP maintains the two or more route concurrently between sender and receiver and give seamless connectivity without any interruption. On the other hand traditional routing is not effective and sometimes not even feasible in some cases due to infrastructure setup. In order to overcome the traditional routing limitations, and to increase the capacity of current dynamic diverse wireless networks, the opportunistic routing model has been proposed in this paper. The main goal of this paper is to show the characteristics comparison between different transport layer protocol like TCP, MPTCP, MPTCP-TSC and ReMP TCP under MATLAB framework.
