Research of Error Control Coding and Decoding

Error control technology improves the reliability and validity of communication transmission. Linear block code, cyclic code, convolutional code, LDPC code and CRC are commonly used. In this paper, the principles of these codes are analysed, simulations of encoding and decoding are experimented. According to the simulation results, it is concluded that error control coding is helpful to reduce the error rate of the communication system.
