A new method to detect phase failure of the motor driving system

This paper proposed a new method to detect phase failure of motor driving system.In this paper,all types of phase failure in a normal three-phase motor driving system are discussed.To detect these faults,this paper propose a method using three-phase current sensors.These current sensors are usually used to detect three-phase currents for motor control in the system.This new method doesn't need extra hardware.It just need to add a little logical judgement in software.This method has a higher reliability.
