Security Context Design

Edward J. Birrane, Sarah Heiner, Ken McKeever · 2022

Security contexts allow BPSec security blocks to adapt to the many networking environments BPv7 can support by serving as an interface between the bundle contents and underlying cipher suites. When designing a security context, there are semantic and syntactic decisions to be made in order to apply a security service properly and ensure that its results can be processed by downstream BPAs. This chapter identifies considerations for defining a new security context and the features that may be included in a security context.
