Effect of Scatter Search Algorithm Approach on Transmission Delay Constrained Tree Computer Network

A tree network topology is a tree structure in which all the computers are connected like the branches of a tree.This topology is frequently used to organize the computers in a corporate network.This research considers a topological optimization of a tree network design with spanning tree, mean packet delay, and traffic capacity of sub tree constraints.The objective is to find the layout of node links at minimal installation cost.In this research, a scatter search algorithm approach is suggested to efficiently solve the tree network problem.Experimental examples are used to explain and test the proposed approach.The performance evaluation results showed evidence that the proposed approach performs much better than a tabu search algorithm.
