Preliminary Study on Abnormality Detection of Airbox Sensor Device

As people’s awareness of environmental protection has increased over the years, air quality, particularly air pollution related to particulate matter 2.5 (PM 2.5), has become a concern for the general public. Thus, citizens in Taiwan have been voluntarily engaged in setting up airbox stations, leading to a sizable airbox air quality monitoring network. This network allows small-scale, real-time, location-based environmental monitoring. However, such an extensive environmental Internet of Things (IoT) network places pressure on the stability of data quality. Therefore, this study constructs a real-time sensor device abnormality detection approach.
