In this work, after analyzing the reconfigurable requirement and feasibility, a reconfigurable KECCAK hardware design for lattice-based post-quantum cryptography on the RISCV architecture is implemented. The padding module can be filled with any number of bits in different ways by configuring the length and address. The output module can satisfy any bit output of SHAKE function. In addition, by comparing RISCV original instruction, partial extension and full extension, it is verified that the fully extended architecture can improve the energy efficiency by at least 30 times.
