Audio-driven Facial Animation: A Survey

This paper provides a survey of the techniques for audio-driven 3D facial animation. This paper reviews linguistic-based animation and deep-learning-based animation. First, we present a brief historical review of technological evolution. Then we introduce each method. We discuss limitations and future directions at the end of the paper.
