We are living in a digital world. Technologies like big data, cloud computing, internet of things (IoT), artificial intelligence, smart consumer electronics, etc. make our life comfortable and save a lot of the human labor force. But, the embedded vulnerabilities, hazards, and loopholes of our technologies sometimes make our life alarming with the recent increase of cyber-attacks and uncontrollable threats. This is quite evident in the lack of traditional cyber security technologies and these challenges bring up new technology which can solve the global need in the purview of cyber technology and social cyber awareness. Cyber security is one of the prominent fields of research as we are day by day shifting all kinds of operations into the cyber world. Industry 4.0 is fully dependent upon the autonomous process of digitalization. Hence, security is the first and foremost priority for designing any kind of system. This book chapter would research cyber-physical systems, current cyber security issues, cyber-physical attacks, and their solving aspect emphasizing mostly deep learning and machine learning approaches. This introspection fills up the gaps that come across while dealing with any cyber security issues more confidently and in a speedy manner.
