So far, we have written user interfaces, but we are only accessing other people’s server-side code. In this chapter, we are going to take a very brief look at the other side of the equation and give you a quick taste of server-side programming. The goal of this chapter is not to even get you fully set up for doing server-side programming. That would require an entire additional book. However, I do think it is important for you to know at least a little bit about what goes on there.
