This chapter will cover REST APIs in HWA. RESTful API is a mediator between the users, clients, resources, and web services. REST APIs interact with the HWA system to retrieve information and perform actions and communicate with the system. API is used to share resources and their information while maintaining security, control, and authentication to determine access control details of the user.
