Meta-Heuristic Algorithms for Optimization

A meta-heuristics is a nature-inspired optimization technique. This technique use heuristic plans for investigating the search space of a global optimum quickly. In contrast to classical methods, meta-heuristic optimization provides the best solution. By defining the fitness function, these algorithms give enhancement by giving a better candidate solution iteratively. Accordingly, meta-heuristic optimization algorithms are frequently based on local search methods in which the solution space is not explored systematically or exhaustively, yet rather a particular heuristic characterized by the manner in which the exploration through the solution space is organized.
