After a break to in-person meetings in 2020 due to COVID-19, the 74th Annual Meeting of the American Physical Society (APS)-Division of Fluid Mechanics successfully resumed the in-person format to convene in Phoenix, AZ from November 21-23, 2021.The Gallery of Fluid Motion (GFM) event invited competitive submissions in Video and Poster categories. The time-line of submissions roughly followed the previous competitions; with deadlines for an intent to submit (September 17, 2021) and final submission of entries (October 8, 2021).By the deadline, a total of 63 video entries and 33 poster entries, submitted from across the world (Fig. 1), were considered for the final competition. The interest in the Gallery was comparable to the pre-pandemic levels. All the poster entries were displayed in print, and the video entries were played in a loop in the viewing arena in North Exhibit Hall of the Phoenix Convention Center during the conference.Following the subission deadline, a panel of judges-5 for video entries and 3 for poster entrieswas convened, comprising eminent researchers with expertise in experimental and numerical methods. Each entry was rated by at least three judges randomly assigned on a score ranging from 1 to 5 based on aesthetics, scientific merit and originality. The average scores were tallied and the top three entries in each category were chosen as the winners of the Milton van Dyke award.Additionally, four video entries following the top three and one poster entry were chosen as the Gallery of Fluid Motion winners. The authors congratulate the winners, listed below, and thank all the participants for the excellent submissions and in maintaining the strong interest in the GFM.All the entries (and ones from prior years) are available on the official GFM website (https://gfm.aps.org).A collage of the winners and figures from the winning entries are shown in Fig. 2.
