Authentication mechanisms for Telecare Medicine Information Systems (TMIS) have been extensively researched to safeguard the privacy and integrity of sensitive user data, such as telephone numbers, health information, medical records, etc. This paper presents a new efficient authentication technique for TMIS leveraging convolution Chebyshev chaotic maps. Based on the findings of this investigation, the suggested technique is secure against password guessing, privileged insider, replay, stolen verifier, and man-in-the-middle attacks. Generally, the computational costs of the proposed authentication technique outperform other competing techniques in the existing literature.
