A Hybrid watermarking using Genetic Algorithm

Watermarking is a growing field used in various fields such as copyright protection, Asset Assertion, broadcast monitoring and secured communication. This paper present a hybrid combination of stationary wavelet transform( SWT2) and Singular Value Decomposition (SVD) for inserting the water-mark. The watermarking metrics are optimised by executing the Genetic Optimisation Algorithm(GOA). The obtained results of the simulation exhibit that the proposed algorithm is not just extremely imperceptible but also highly robust and has high capacity.
