Distributed Cooperation

I am sharing my experience using my home as a living laboratory for connected systems. The constraint of working with a disparate range of gear and protocols forces me to think about how systems scale. The constraint of using available gear is liberating because it limits my ability to depend on any particular platform. This parallels the way the Internet can take advantage of any opportunity for connectivity because it treats each path as a resource rather than depending on layers of services.
