The Internet is one of the most reliable sources of communication in today’s world, but the identities of senders and receivers are not completely secure. The most suitable and widely used choice is to use communication method which has a strong encryption for someone to hide the identity. In this paper, we analyze and compare the most widely used communication system, i.e., Tor, alongside Yggdrasil Network, the most advanced and decentralized communication system. Tor is the most used anonymous communication system worldwide, while Yggdrasil was created to be a future-proof decentralized anonymous alternative routing system.
