Currently, one of the most popular and rapidly growing businesses as well as hobbies in Indonesia is become a turtledove bird breeder. It recorded in the P3SI institution that the number of registered turtledove breeders has reached more than 2000 breeders. In this number, almost all breeders still carry out conventional breeding treatments which take a long time. In this paper, proposed a smart birdcage using the ESP8266 module and automatic temperature control by STM32F4 discovery. The integration of IoT can help breeders manage all of the cages and the turtledoves birds can grow optimal. The smart cage use temperature and light Dependent Sensors (LDR). The outputs are dc motors, and exhaust fans control with the Internet of Things (IoT). Meanwhile, the cage heating control system uses the PI control method to adjust the PWM on the AC module control for the brightness level of incandescent lamps. In this research, author choose PI control because temperature does not have an overshot as same as starting current in motor. So, derivative control is not needed. The expected result of this proposal is to help old or busy turtledove breeders monitor the cages at any time and be more efficient.
