Web scraping is an automatic method to obtain large amounts of data from websites. There are many different ways to perform web scraping to obtain data from websites. Web scraping requires two parts, namely the crawler and the scraper. Web Scrapers can be divided on the basis of many different criteria, including Self-built/Pre-built Web Scrapers, Browser extension/Software Web Scrapers, and Cloud/Local Web Scrapers. Web Scraping has multiple applications across various industries: price monitoring, market research, news monitoring, sentiment analysis and email marketing. This chapter presents advantages and disadvantages of Web scraping. Ensemble learning algorithms are meta-algorithms that combine several machine learning algorithms into one predictive model in order to decrease variance, bias or improve predictions. Ensemble algorithms or methods can be divided into two groups: Sequential ensemble methods and Parallel ensemble methods.
