Wireless sensor network (WSN) are combination of network sensors and small (micro) sensors. This paper proposes the enhancement of an already existing algorithm, for the extended life of the nodes. So, the nodes can be alive for more rounds of data transmission. Basically, sending data from one node to another in a network, it consumes energy. For the less consumption of best routing in the network the Leach protocol is used. The LEACH protocol is an abbreviation for Low-energy adaptive cluster hierarchy, in this protocol, the energy balancing of the nodes is performed by selecting a random CH (cluster head). Random selection of a selected CH node may be less efficient with this protocol. Therefore, this role also contributes to the effort to select the most energy-efficient node to improve network life and increase data transmission. In the base algorithm, all nodes die before the modified enhancement algorithm proposed in this article. MATLAB software is used to demonstrate the simulation and to compare the basic and modified algorithms. Also in this research work, it has been seen that the algorithm has worked in solving the power consumption problem of wireless sensor networks in an enhanced manner.
