An Innovative Harvesting System for Multipurpose Hemp

The work presented aimed at testing an innovative system for the combined harvesting of industrial hemp. The interesting performance shown by the machine make this type of mechanical solution undoubtedly one of the best option to exploit entirely the hemp products at industrial level. The limiting factor of this study was the scarce plant growth, as plant height is the main problem affecting mechanical harvest. Therefore, future tests in well developed plantations should be performed in order to fully validate the findings of this research.
