The emergence of healthcare resources like equipment and manpower is the crucial issue. This calamity is well observed in the rural areas where adequate resources for medical care is very hard to manage. In rural areas people are losing their life due to not getting the proper treatment. To eradicate these calamities, the introduction of advanced technology like telemedicine is important. Soft computing occupies a vital role in the field of healthcare, especially in telemedicine. Physicians could not move ahead without the help of the technical advancement, especially soft computing. Soft computing makes the machine think like a human being for sustainable medical diagnosis. In this chapter, an expert system based on fuzzy rules is used to calculate the patient risk level.
