Adaptive Secure Communication based on Decode-and-forward Protocol

This paper studies the problem of secure communication when multiple relay nodes exist in a cooperative communication scenario. Two strategies are proposed based on Decode-and forward (DF) protocol, namely Single Relay (SR) and Both Relay and Jamming (BRJ) strategies. The SR strategy considers the situation where only a single relay node exists. When a single relay node can't meet the security performance requirements, then BRJ strategy will be applied, which adopts the help of both relay node and interfering node at the same time. In order to achieve the best security performance, the system can adaptively switch between SR and BRJ strategies. The paper proposes the optimal node selection and power allocation method, and analyzes the minimum power consumption under different conditions. Compared with the traditional direct transmission method, the method proposed in this paper can significantly reduce the power consumption.
