Neil Richards · 2022

It uses an example from an anonymous hotel artwork using pre-conceived design before finding data to populate data visualisation. Design for impact, creativity, fun, not for analytical benefit. Also briefly discusses data art as well as generative art, with design examples including Sesame Street. Note, this contradicts and questions our thinking from Chapter 1.1 .
