This profound evolution of weaponry is part of a global technological race that is transforming the art of war. More officially, lethal autonomous weapons refer to any armed robotic system capable of opening fire more or less autonomously on a target without human intervention. For centuries, libraries have been gateways to knowledge par excellence and its major dissemination vehicle.
