Deep learning is a subfield of machine learning that deals with artificial neural networks, which are algorithms encouraged by the structure and operation of the brain. Health practitioners and analysts are using deep learning to discover the latent opportunities in data and to support the healthcare industry in better way. Deep learning in healthcare enables physicians to correctly analyze any illness to properly manage it which results in better treatment decisions. Blockchain and Internet of things are also used as deep learning models in the healthcare system to manage the large healthcare data, such as electronic medical records. Mobile healthcare system is also a part of deep learning, which is used nowadays by health practitioners to manage the healthcare system by online mode. Therefore, there is a need to concentrate on the knowledge and use of certain methods in order to address the shortcomings of current mainstream approaches to human health monitoring. This chapter describes the role of deep learning in the patient care by using different models and managing the healthcare system effectively.
