It is known, that digital communication and the internet are fast-growing with huge multimedia storage and transmission, as the advanced reasons were a major reason for improving information security levels. Cyber security attacks accrue when an unprotected video is transmitted throw unsecure communication. This paper summarized video steganography techniques in two approaches, compressed and uncompressed in both spatial and frequency domains while compressed based on intraframe prediction, Interframe prediction, motion vector estimation, transform coefficients, and entropy coding, and given the remaining issues. Furthermore, discusses performance analyses of these approaches based on imperceptibility, robustness, embedding capacity, and embedding efficiency. Finally, given the solutions for solving the remaining issues in future work.
