A Study on Optical Character Recognition for Tilted Images

Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology is used for several applications. The accuracy of recognition of OCR decreases with tilted images, so we propose the technology to improve the recognition accuracy in the character image with the inclination. In this method, Hough transformation is applied to improve the accuracy. From experiments, it was confirmed that the proposed method improves the accuracy.
