Design of a load balancing method for multiple routing configurations

Multiple Routing Configurations (MRC) algorithm is one of network failure recovery techniques, which prepares multiple backup routing configurations for recovering from a single node/link failure. In this paper, we propose a load balancing method for MRC. The proposed method improves uneven link loads of backup routing configurations by reconstructing component elements of the configurations based on network potentials. Through numerical experiments, we show that the effectiveness of the proposed method.
