Analyse 3D des volumes et remplissages souterrains de la grotte aux Points au temps des fréquentations paléolithiques (Aiguèze, Gard)

The analysis proposed here at Points cave is aiming at giving a plausible state of the cave at the time of Palaeolithic human uses. The approach is based on terrestrial lasergrammetry, geomorphological observations, ichnologies and sediments, and the assembly of all elements in a unified3D model. This model constitutes the support for the paleo-surfaces studied and, in fine, allows the editing of topographical maps synthesizing all the current observation data. This project gives an image of surfaces that have since disappeared. In the end, the approach realized is a support for a geographic and geometric analysis of the Palaeolithic parietal art in the cave.
