Message from the Industry, Systems and Apps Co-Track Co-ChairsMDM 2022The Industry and Application Track of MDM 2022 received fourteen ( 14) submissions of high quality, all of which have been reviewed by at least three members from the MDM 2022 Industry and Application Track Program Committee.We, based on the review outputs, eventually selected seven (7) papers for presentation at the conference, which is doubled from the last year's statistics.Many of the paper arecollaboaration results between universityies and leading tech companies, which confirms the influence of the track at both academia and industry.These papers cover a wide area of interesting and practical topics in mobile computing and data management, as they are applied in the industry.We would like to sincerely thank the authors for their hard work and research efforts as they are materialized in the submitted papers.The link between research and industry is of considerable importance for the MDM community and we hope that the Industry and Application Track will stimulate new avenues for collaboration towards the design of novel mobile applications for data management bringing together the industry and academic communities.
