Deep Learning Models for Visual Computing

This chapter provides detailed discussion of the common deep learning models that are being used in solving visual computing problems. In particular, this chapter is dedicated in explaining in detail the architecture of convolutional neural networks and how such networks can be trained. Specific examples of convolutional neural networks are also discussed in this chapter along with how performance in classification of visual computing problems can be measured.
