Clustering Strategy for Assembling Abridged Test Forms From Retired Operational Test Forms

Items from retired operational forms are often used to construct abridged test forms for potential test-takers to experience the types of items that will appear on the operational test.This task is different from the typical test assembly problem because the items are selected from a small pool.Furthermore, multiple forms are to be assembled with more than one reference form.The goal of this study is to provide an effective solution for assembling abridged practice forms.
