Monitoring System Based Micro‐Controller for Biogas Digester

We all know that the only way to control a process is to measure its state parameters, and that its supervision becomes more difficult if its composition is complex. For this purpose, Telemetry provides an additional ability to the measurement system by taking advantage of the transmission of the measured values through the local network or the internet. In this work, we have proposed to control the process by measuring the state parameters of an anaerobic digester (methane is generated by the fermentation of waste deposited in the reactor). The system that we have proposed for online monitoring is all open-source hardware and software; on top of which the Raspberry Pi (RPi) is well known for its compactness, size, cost and ability to host data processing algorithms.
