Participatory management of natural resources (soil, water, biodiversity, forest) requires multi-level stakeholders to interact about complex issues, linking biophysical and socio-political processes. Following a post-normal (Funtowicz, Ravetz, 1990) perspective, complexity is still enhanced by the multiplicity of individual perspectives (representations) which actually drive stakeholders'decisions and operations.
