APPLICATION OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN THE SUPREME FEDERAL COURT: A STUDY ON THE VICTOR SYSTEM

Technological innovations in recent years, especially in the area of information technology and the digital world, have brought ease and agility in carrying out activities in all sectors.The Judiciary underwent a great transformation with computerization, through the digitization of processes, carrying out judicial acts through the virtual environment and, finally, with the use of artificial intelligence.The Victor System, implemented in the Federal Supreme Court, uses this technology and has emerged as an important ally in improving jurisdictional provision, through the analysis of Extraordinary Appeals with a view to identifying cases of general repercussion.This work will analyze the aforementioned system, its functioning and the results arising from its use, reflected in the number of cases in the court's collection, as well as the prospects for improvement to be used in other activities and in other institution of the Judiciary.The limitations that must be faced will also be studied, aiming to contribute to the formation of a vision of the future about its applicability, extracting the best it can provide for the purpose of speeding up and effectively processing the processes, in order to solve conflicts and achieve social pacification.Therefore, exploratory and descriptive research will be used, using the deductive approach method, and the historical, documentary, bibliographic and structuralist methods, based on the theoretical references indicated and on the analysis of works, scientific articles, legislation and official data.It is intended, therefore, through the methods and procedures mentioned, to start from universal concepts, seeking their particularization.
