When cyberattacks can shut down entire networks, it's important to develop an effec- tive solution to protect data against unauthorized access and tampering. Fortunately, blockchain technology offers an innovative approach to data security that has suc- cessfully withstood the fiercest cyberattacks for more than a decade. Many research- ers and security experts predict that blockchain technology will revolutionize the cyber security of any business that uses it. Yet though, Blockchain is at particular risk because one-way functions are at the only line of defense. Apparently on the other side, cyber attacks and hackers peaks up in exponential increase of attacks and hacks like cracking digital signatures. Digital signatures pose an eminent and efficient method of securing almost all the bank clients. This is a most imminent threat to all business. Quantum cryptography can strengthen blockchain security. Quantum communication is inherently authenticated - no user can impersonate another. In the quantum blockchain network, each node stores a copy of the blockchain. As in the classical blockchain, the aim of this stage is to add valid blocks in a decentralized manner. To construct the quantum blockchain network, the problem is that the net- work may consist of dishonest nodes and the generated blocks may come from a dis- honest source. Recently developed device-independent quantum communication protocols allow untrusted intermediary quantum stations to relay quantum secured signals between two parties. By which it tightens the one-way function issues and avoids communication between untrusted sources. This chapter provides the differ- ent Quantum Blockchain techniques that can be effectively used towards sustainable cyber security. It also provides a detailed survey of cyber security issues and how the recent advancements of Quantum Blockchain are applied to solve these issues.
