Pintu Kumar Sadhu, Venkata P. Yanambaka, Ahmed Abdelgawad, Kumar Yelamarthi · IEEE Consumer Electronics Magazine · 2022

The Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) helped connect many implantable and wearable medical devices to the Internet. Security incorporation is required to restrict unauthorized entities. To enhance IoMT security, this article proposes physical unclonable function-based three factor authentication system, Neighbor Assisted Healthcare Authentication Protocol. This proposed framework requires low computational time (6 ms), with 193 bytes as communication overhead, and demonstrated 100% reliability. The robustness of the proposed work is demonstrated through formal analysis, Burrows, Abadi, Needham logic, and informal analysis.
