The subject of sexual harassment and violence in public circles, the histories of their victims, the facts of silence and the assistance of guilty crimes were regularly attempted to cover in many authoritative international editions long before the Hollywood scandal. However, the attention of the global society to the harassment has been attracted by the investigation of The New York Times, thus allowing the movement of MeToo to flare up with a new force in all spheres of public life. The article provides content analysis of the publications of the online version of The Daily Telegraph devoted to the phenomenon of the harassment and the movement of MeToo one year after the case of Harvey Weinstein. It is established that the character of the key tokens of these materials continues to remain unchanged: the author`s aim to punish the perpetrators (presenting them in real light to the public), studying the causes of long silence of certain crimes (including NDA – non-disclosure agreements, material reparations to victims of violence, negligence and indifference of colleagues of accused persons). It is concluded that despite the fact that the harassment has been discussed openly and in detail within a year and a half by the media of all countries, the stories of star people, not ordinary citizens, are still in the foreground. In this regard, the issue of support for ordinary women, men, and emigrants who have experienced violence, the understanding of their psychological state is still undisclosed.
