Cranes are the commonly used machinery for lifting heavy weight objects in many places like industries, ports, construction sites, etc. Due to the weight of these objects, the crane might go into a state of imbalance or the wire holding them might cut off. The reason for the imbalance of crane or increase in the tension of lifting wire is due to the wobble or oscillation of heavy weights lifted by the crane. If the heavy weight is separated from the crane during oscillation, then its projectile depends on its position of the oscillation. The velocity of heavy weight will be minimum when it is at either of the extreme position, and it will be the maximum when it is at the equilibrium position. The hanging height of the heavy weight can be found using an ultrasonic sensor, but finding its initial linear velocity is difficult. Previously used sensors like MPU6050 can only provide linear acceleration and angular velocity.
